Both my friend and I have been looking for a part time evening job , I've applied at some of the $15 an hour jobs. No calls back. I have experience, I'm a hard worker, tons of references and a great resume. It feels like some of these company's aren't trying too hard to hire people ....
Edit: to the response saying they might not having evening shifts. I would agree with that IF these places didn't specify that they were looking for evening staff ...
It might also be that the only shifts they can fill are the evening shifts (when teenagers can work) and they can’t fill the positions during the day shifts (where more of the workers would be adults/out of school and have more bills/living expenses).
