Bush: The Sequel took office the year after I graduated high school. Up to that point, I was blissfully ignorant about politics. After 9/11 I really started paying attention. The response and subsequent war that followed sickened me. That administration just completely soured me on any sort of respect for politicians. There was a slightly lesser evil after that, and I felt that at least we hit a plateau. Then came the would-be god emperor. And watching as all the normally dormant, quiet and reserved neighbors and family members start foaming at the mouth for him, made me lose all respect for this country. I live in my little nook, away from close-by neighbors and that's good for now, but I'm working on my departure from these great states.
