What is the US's plan for their last flight out of Kabul?

Do we know how the US is going to simultaneously ensure Hamid Karzai Airport is secure and also be on the last plane leaving?

I could guess over the next two days they're going to slowly hand over security to the Taliban as they evacuate, then at some stage every US person is on that last plane.

Here is footage from when peace troops pulled out of Somalia. You can tell the last ones out were pretty nervous as locals started entering the facility while they were trying to leave
