Earlier in the Washington Post article it describes how the daughter of this woman's husband lost two 7 month old twins in the flooding this week. Go God.

I know most of the folks here are familiar with this particular brand of insanity at this point, but still... it boggles the mind and is just so endlessly depressing.

When I was a teenager, two of my best friends were killed in a drunk driving accident. One of those kid's little brothers was maybe in 7th grade and distraught because his older brother was his best friend. The mom would always tell him, "it's ok because when we die, we will see him again in heaven." So, one day the little brother and his friend stole his dad's truck and drove it into the same tree that killed his brother. They died.
