How old is that? My engine doesn't have any warnings about ethanol, but I'm still gonna run it with marine stabil

Well the boat is an 83 so up to 38 years old I suppose!

Ethanol doesn't care about year lol. I've seen a BMW X3/5 have its fuel system get messed up by it. If you're not using all the fuel relatively quickly it can cause problems.

But wouldn't the marine stabil help with that?

Unless it's somehow better than other fuel stabilizers I'd expect it to, I've never used marine stabil but every other one I've used it's had water accumulate over time.

From what I looked up, there's only one additive that will recombine the ethanol and water into the fuel. I don't remember the name of it, but it's supposed to be thicker than normal and settle to the bottom with the water. Since any modern system has a water filter on it as well, won't any water get caught before causing damage?
