My client didn't pay me enough and I don't know how to bring it up

My client pays me $150 every two weeks to clean their house and today they only paid me $100. (They pay in cash). I think it was an accident because this has never happened with them before. I was there like six hours ago and just counted it now, I did not realize while I was still at their house that they had not paid me enough.

How do I tell them in the nicest way? I don't want them to think I'm lying or something so I'm nervous to contact them. I communicate w them thru text.

Tell them..... I realized I paid my yard company $50 less than I should have a month ago. I was flabbergasted that I did this and have no idea why. It was a dreadful mistake. I made up for it the next month, but it was really a mistake I have no idea I why I made so please let them know.

Thank you! Like I'm sure my clients trust me and I trust that they didn't do it on purpose lol I still just get nervous especially since I like these clients

Text and remind them. If persistent inform them you do this as a living can not live on. May be short in cash....

One of the best ways to introduce a difficult topic like this is to begin by saying, “I have a concern.” After they ask what the concern is, you can then just state the concern: “When I got home and counted the money you gave me, I discovered that there was $100 and not the $150 I expected.”

Don't worry about asking. You are in business and deserve to be paid.
