Getting rid of iPhone, suggestions?

I know this has probably been said a bunch of times, but I have a few specific questions.

I use Apple Music, podcasts, and apple car play in my car. Any way, what can I do that and go basic? Or do I have to stay under the dreaded Apple ecosystem. I’m also open to other suggestions. My head unit in the car also has Android auto.

I moved from IPhone and whole ecosystem to an Android. Best decision ever. iPhone+ mac + air pods + iPad + watch. Just left with an iPad now.

I would say plan it well, look under each app what data you have. What's backed up in the cloud and what needs to be transferred! And then take the plunge. Backups will ensure a clean transition. Also look for alternative app for the apps you like to use. In most cases, I found Apps on Android are better or unrestricted to use.

Now I just use the phone majorly, this did help me reduce my usage of tech.
