Kanye West Says Trump ‘Lied About Me’ and Is ‘Known for Lying’ Before Walking Out of Interview | Ye remarked, “Look at Pence. He sold Trump out. You know what I’m saying? I would’ve never wanted to do anything that hurt Trump. I’m on Trump’s side."

Battered partner syndrome?
118
u/Cheshire_Jester Nov 29 '22
More or less. He sees Trump as his ticket to the White House, one way or the other.
Trying to paint Pence as a betrayer while implying that he can be used however Trump would like. Since at this point it’s basically clear that Trump will keep you around so long as you’re loyal, or until you become more useful as an expended pawn than as a loyal one.

If you look at how Kanye was abusing everyone at Addidas for years https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/kanye-west-yeezy-porn-bullying-kim-kardashian-1234635221/
Then see how he became creepy stalker-ex etc.
This is just a horrible abusive person who creates and seeks out abusive relationships. No distinction between being the abuser or being on the receiving end of the abuse, because this man lives in lala fantasy land. Hes a crazy, and worse because he has the money and power to hurt so many folks he encounters.
"Cancelling" Kanye isn't about reprimanding him on social media, its about protecting people from this dangerous man.

right but stephen hawking never said he was good at walking and never tried to become the CEO of walkers of america or any dumb shit like that. he stayed in his lane and didn’t try to claim his actual genius applied to other subjects. furthermore idk how you can be a “”musical genius”” and then put out lackluster music. he’s skilled and got lucky a few times back in the day but he’s no better than other people who are intermittently really good at sampling music or beat production for a certain time period. he’s not a genius in any way imo. i loved graduation but that was almost two decades ago.

As his career tumbles Nick Fuentes’ skyrockets. That’s a pretty big problem, because Nick Fuentes is a proud and open Nazi who regularly denies the Holocaust, openly states that he doesn’t think women should have sufferage, and calls interracial marriage/sex an abomination that hurts both parties.
Typically, when mainstream figures are fascists, they disguise their rhetoric(intentionally or not) for the sake of plausible deniability. For example: people like Trump won’t say ‘the white population is being systematically eradicated by nonwhite immigration and interracial marriage’, he’ll just say ‘there’s a crisis at the border and we must have more security for the safety of our people’. Of course, in practice that means the same thing, and that’s been the basis of a lot of attacks on Trump, but he uses plausible deniability to defend himself.
If someone like Fuentes gets into the mainstream, that kind of attack stops working. Fuentes doesn’t have plausible deniability, and when you tell people Fuentes is engaging in fascist and white nationalist rhetoric, he will just say ‘yeah, I am, that’s a good thing, what of it?’. His followers think the same way, and since they are openly fascists, they will be much more willing to use violence, including state-sponsored violence if they have the opportunity, to get their way.
It is a very, very dangerous that an open fascist is potentially entering mainstream discourse, and the way the media responds to his presence is of vital importance. They cannot do what they usually do.

u/KnackerbyNature Nov 29 '22
