Breaks my heart to see and read what is happening to those educated, enlightened people in Afghanistan. To think of men and women with talent and aspiration now at the mercy of uneducated, brain-wiped, tribal zealots. Makes my fucking heart cry.

Who's we? It's really weird how triggered adults get from their couches when this girl tries to do something that benefits others. If you think you can do better, go for it. There are plenty of people in Afghanistan that still need rescuing.

There are plenty of people in Afghanistan that still need rescuing.
What they don't need is to be used for unrelated PR exercises for your fucking amusement.
So, can we fucking not?

You realize that Greta didn't author this article, she didn't put herself in the headline. She merely offered her assistance to the program. Just because weirdos like yourself are obsessed with her, doesn't mean she's using anyone for PR. Did you even read the article, or did you just see her face and fly into a rage?

Yes, of course. This is about the muppets using a school-skipping kid as a distraction from the current mass extinction.
Did you even read the article
Not interested. You people are a cancer upon the environmental movement and now you have the nerve to use the unrelated tragedy in Afghanistan for your fucking retweets and Internet points.
You people are monsters.

Who is "you people?" If we are all a cancer upon the environmental movement? What is it that you do for the environmental movement that's so beneficial?

This evacuation is mostly a cover to get oil workers out without many noticing.
The brain-drain is secondary. Evacuating people that actually care about the planet is likely a lower concern than evacuating convicts.
Edit to add; A lot of love for the most destructive industry on the planet. What’s up with that r/Environment ?

Makes a ridiculous statement with no proof... Gets downvoted... And then assumes it's because the sub loves the oil industry. That's some impressive mental gymnastics. Your brand of bullshit isn't welcome here.
