I'm so angry. I'm currently applying for civil service jobs because I want to do something that can be good for society but to see this kind of corruption just annoys me so much.
How can this be allowed. I'm kind of horrified to see what I might encounter in the future of I get in.

Read the article and you’ll see that it’s, once again, corporations and regulatory capture to blame. You want to be mad at someone? Be mad at the multiple corporations that influence the government, not the government itself.
You’re ‘small government’ just cuts out the middle man and let’s corporate have direct control.

There's no difference between corporations and government in the USA anymore. North America was a way better place when the Native Americans were taking care of it, FACT. I bet they never poisoned the water.

Please, that attitude will only allow things to get worse. Go ahead and resign to your apathetic nihilism instead of trying to make our government better. That’s precisely what corporate wants from you.

You don't understand nihilism. Emigration is typically what people do when the government no longer serves the people that live there. See all of human history. Nihilism would be sitting around doing nothing about it than posting on the internet, which is probably a majority of people.

Alright, fair point. If you got to move because you see the US as corrupt that’s fair enough; but where exactly is this ‘small government’ better country you’re referring to? The better countries are the ones with less corrupt governments that actively and effectively do keep corporate in check

figure out where the smallest government is
Somalia - the libertarian paradise!
no wonder we feel sick all the time we're being poisoned
It will be the same in Somalia, but with no government to complain to.
