Don’t start no shit won’t be no shit. I hate protesters of every age, sex, race, religion, and of every cause. Go home, you’re just making normies hate you. You want change vote for it. If you don’t get your way you’ve lost the game of democracy. That is assuming you care about democracy which most protesters most certainly do not.

And what do you do when a candidate ran on a platform of protecting old growth forest then reneges on their promise? Protesting is a way to hold politicians accountable.

Without protest there would still be slavery and only white land owners over 21 could vote. Is that your idea of democracy?

Its fine to hate protesters, but the violence/abuse they receive from police is inhuman and unnecessary. Violent protesters understandably receive violence, but the fairy creek blockaders have been mostly peaceful and when there has been violence its been instigated by police. Indigenous people have had the right to vote since 1950 but the system is built heavily against them, so there isn't a "game of democracy" its more like an " uphill battle of democracy".

Are the police supposed to just stand there and let them carryon for an indefinite amount of time? Nope. Ask, tell, make. As for an “up hill battle for democracy” I get the same one vote they do so what is the problem? I’m on the losing side of topics often. Does that mean I should act like a jackass until I get my way? No, because I respect the will of the electorate.
The only difference between violent and non-violent protesters is you should skip the ask part of the ask, tell, make process when the protesters are violent from the start.

They wouldn't stand and do nothing there are effective ways to peacefully disperse crowds of protesters, yes it can take awhile but its worth not to escalate things (more people would come to protest if things escalate).

The above link has all the info on why its an uphill battle, mostly the same reasons its hard for PoC to vote in America.

While I disagree with your position I respect the way you go about advocating for it. Admittedly my stance is on the harsher side of standard practices.

No, your stance is somehow pleasing yourself by trolling up anger in others. You are unwell, and should seek professional help. "Normies" don't get their rocks off by adding more anger to an already anger-saturated world.
You do understand that, don't you? ...that you get your dopamine from making your fellow human feel worse? That's lashing out at the world, and is unhealthy. You probably already have physical symptoms that often accompany such mental-health issues...so if you want to feel better, both physically and mentally, you should break the inappropriate behavior ---> dopamine cycle. There are many good people that can help you, but you've got to really want it
I wish you well.

These trees aren't coming back next election cycle. The BC government is sanctioning permanent environmental destruction of public assets for very short term privatized gain. BC didn't vote for clear cutting, and the government should seek a mandate on it if they're convinced that it's what people really want.

It makes me sick how the puppets of the capitalist elite will beat and kill their fellow man on their bosses behalf. How low pay, plus a little bit of power, could ever be incentive enough for them to turn into violent apes?
When they do this, it demonstrates how weak our society is. We need a reckoning...or a new moral code of conduct that we can expect each other to uphold.
