Absolute nonsense. There’s like 10 different ways to control a clearly disoriented fighter that doesn’t put you and risk of GNP. what he did was absolutely unnecessary and harmful to the fighter for no good reason.
Edit: also, the guillotine WAS fully applied here. That’s why the fighter was unconscious when his cornermen got to him.
He ignored his duties as a ref and placed this fighter even more in harm's way. I would say he's not fit for that role if he thinks it's acceptable to choke a disoriented fighter.
