What do you do that you earn six figures?

It seems like a lot of people make a lot of money and it seems like I’m missing out on something. So those of you that do, whats your occupation that pays so well?

I just broke 200k total comp with 2 years of experience. My parents aren’t American and I don’t even think they believe me. The field is stupid lucrative right now.

Is that the Bay area I assume? In most areas 2 years of software development experience wouldn't be enough to break 100k.

yep, its the bay. Theres some other areas like seattle, NYC, austin, north carolina, boston, etc where this is possible.

Ok, yeah that makes sense then. I'm in Austin and most web dev jobs for someone with 2 years of experience pay $60-$70k.
