To recount, I have crucified one, drowned multiple, sealed one in a box and sent it downstream, drowned on but in mud, thrown one into lava, burnt one at the stake and sent multiple to the moon and back.

Yeah, they should respawn if you get too far from them or if they drown in like the bottom of a mud pit.

I attached one to a wing and rocket and sent it directly to his friend down a hill and through a river, even went underwater temporarily. I was surprised that it worked first try
