They would also probably wait until the vr itself is kind of affordable so both people who buy it for the VR na for HL will buy it

That is my thinking. Oculus Quest is a somewhat affordable VR headset, but not very powerful graphics-wise compared to PC-VR. So my belief is that they will shove the hardware of the handheld device they are marketing right now into a VR headset and sell it as a standalone-PCVRequivalent headset and then push HL3 on it in order to sell a fuckton of headsets.

Atleast I hope that is what they will do, because the selling power of HL3 is what could really make VR take off to the mainstream gaming market
