Haha nice! I have the same one that I “borrowed” from my boss over 10 years ago lol. I’ve never been able to put an exact date on it which is why I asked. The set is looking good though.

Nice set!! So I just bought a set of sim max irons 5-pw and a 3 hybrid 19 degree. My question is, the 4 iron is a 19 degree as well, is having a 4 iron and a 3 hybrid the same thing?

Edit: just realized yours is a 3 wood not 3 hybrid.

Double edit: I guess sim2 rescues are in fact hybrids, not woods?

It is the same loft but I hit it much farther. Crushed it actually. Scary straight. Seemed to fill the gap well.

im normally not a fan of how SGI irons look but these sim2 irons actually look great, way better than last years look

The SGI irons would be the sim2 OS, which are much bulkier. These are just GI

Nice thanks for the info, that seems like a good deal. I got fitted at Club Champion back in early Dec. for Sim1 irons, and then was told a month later because of the transition to 2 they were just going to upgrade me to Sim2. I'm getting antsy for my new clubs!

Most companies if you preorder send out ahead of time so you get when they release. But most of the time its a bit too early. Friend got the new epic speed last week and tjat doesnt come out till next week too.

I hit better than the Sim 2 Max and Ping 425. Feel very comfortable standing over the ball with it.

Can’t find clubs anywhere gang! Will say Golf Galaxy had pretty much everything in LH which I’ve never seen at any store.

Damn that sucks.. lefties have it tough in golf. Although down under here in Australia I’ve never had an issue with getting new clubs and neither have some mates of mine who are also lefties

It’s easier now here in the States. When I started playing 25 years ago, the only way I could try a club was it another lefty had it. There was 2 maybe 3 lefties at my course so that was rare! I took about 10 yrs mostly away from golf and now coming back it’s mind blowing to walk into a store and be able to hit pretty much anything I want.

How do you like the irons so far? Are the long irons easy to hit? A friend of mine is thinking about just getting the lower irons but I heard the long irons are really good but wasn't sure if that was true.

Haven’t hit them yet - ranges snowed over here since I got them. They were great to hit at the fitting.
