Coercive control: Male victims say they aren't believed

Obviously it is tragic when something so elemental that one has experienced is not believed by somebody who is employed to support one (according to the job description on the tin).

I don't think pitying men in this situation of not being believed is politically any good as an effect got change, so what we need is change so that these men, boys, and male teenagers who say that they have been hurt or coerced in some way by somebody to whom they are close or whatever are believed, not tossed to one side, mocked, laughed at, or disbelieved because this kind of stuff doesn't happen to men.
