Crossbreed chicken with spiders

World hunger solved

127

u/JonIamYourFather Jul 21 '21

Because the chicken spiders killed us all so no one is around to be hungry

11

u/DoJax Jul 21 '21

Bruh if I saw a chicken spider scuttling out of an alley with glistening fangs I'd probably die of fear on the spot, no need for them to kill when that sounds fucking horrifying, we probably would nuke them from orbit just to be safe.

3

u/sully9088 Jul 21 '21

Too late. The chicken spiders found the buttons to launch the nukes, and everyone is too scared to get close to press them.

8

u/--Mediocrates-- Jul 21 '21

Chicken Spiders sounds like an awful movie lol

6

u/Soviet_Fax_Machine Jul 21 '21

Netflix is going to option this for 2 movies and a series

1

u/Artemicionmoogle Jul 22 '21

Throw in a tornado or dust cloud that they can emerge from and I think Sci-Fi might buy that script.

2

u/Rlothbrok Jul 21 '21

population control activated

2

u/dilxoxoxlib Jul 21 '21

Click here to solve world hunger with ONE WEIRD TRICK. Vegans hate him!

u/ObscureAcronym Jul 21 '21

Instead of a chicken with eight legs, accidentally end up with chicken-sized feathery spiders.

18

u/doubled2319888 Jul 21 '21

So Australia?

2

u/EmotiveG Jul 21 '21

Eight Legged Freaks intensifies.

62

u/TesseractToo Jul 21 '21

That's a good idea but only if it makes a web and stares at everyone from the web and when you approach it goes "Bwak-AWWWW!" and startles you

57

u/Tetrid16 Jul 21 '21

This barn hasn't been cleaned in years! Look at the chicken-webs everywhere!

9

u/cooked_fetus_pp Jul 21 '21

Suddenly a giant spider chicken appears 10 feet tall chasing you into the field

And happy cake day

7

u/Tetrid16 Jul 21 '21

Thanks!

Do you think I can use the cake as bait to escape spider-hen?

6

u/TesseractToo Jul 21 '21

Yes they love cake but not chocolate it could make them sick.

Siderchicken is now my pet and my horse so be nice to her

5

u/Tetrid16 Jul 21 '21

Chicken-friendly cake it is, then!

I hope you have a suitable sadle to ride her

3

u/TesseractToo Jul 21 '21

Yeah it will take some designing, I'm thinking of modifying one of those new treeless saddles that might fit her better and some kind of bitless bridle of course

and the cake will be corn and worm flavour

2

u/Tetrid16 Jul 21 '21

May I suggest adding some flies for icing? For the spider-half

→ More replies

4

u/TesseractToo Jul 21 '21

I would train that chicken spider to be my horse

2

u/cooked_fetus_pp Jul 21 '21

Ma'm you can't bring that in here

who are you to say that

I. I AM THE MANAGER!!!!

Insert epic fight scene

1

u/TesseractToo Jul 21 '21

But I just wanted two Wendy burgers, one for me and one for my horse, Karen.

Now she has a name.

All cower in terror from the Spiderchicken mount, SuperKaren!

6

u/nechromorph Jul 21 '21

*cockwebs

7

u/be_me_jp Jul 21 '21

Chickens can make awful dinosaur noises too, trust me you don't want to hear some of the shit they do come from a web, no thank you

8

u/mustapelto Jul 21 '21

Spider-chick, spider-chick

Does whatever a spider-chick does

5

u/yes_its_me_your_dad Jul 21 '21

Nightmare fuel!

5

u/dertanman Jul 21 '21

You know the rules, time to die.

2

u/Historical-Builder-8 Jul 21 '21

Thats just horrifying

2

u/tomtom1961 Jul 21 '21

I think Margaret Atwood came up with that in her Madd Adam trilogy along with a load of other genetically modified horrors.

2

u/jibberwockie Jul 21 '21

Tried it, the little bastards are too fast to catch

2

u/BootDooter Jul 21 '21

Mmmm chiders (in Homers voice)

2

u/VengeX Jul 21 '21

Centipedes or Millipedes is where the money is at.

2

u/broniesnstuff Jul 21 '21

"C'mon down to KFC and get your 32 pieces spicken bucket!"

2

u/Maverick0_0 Jul 21 '21

Why not cockroaches instead? They grow way faster and more hardy.

1

u/WhoListensAndDefends Jul 21 '21

Now your chickens lay eggs in a pouch and climb up walls!

1

u/Maverick0_0 Jul 21 '21

Free chicken legs everywhere!! Fuck yeah!

3

u/bologna_kazoo Jul 21 '21

This comment made me lol. Thank you. Also Aliens, dolphins, whoever, won’t talk to us because instead of trying to communicate with them, we eat them. we figure out genetics and we use it to make other species more delicious. We’re terrible. Eat plants mother fuckers. No one gets hurt. We give zero fucks about living creatures suffering. We say shit like “they’re bred to be food” like that makes them not hurt or feel. It’s an excuse for US not to feel so we can continue to eat everything. Off or on topic, I’m not sure but I saved a long legged spider in my tub from an ant attack this morning and he high fived me. It felt great.

1

u/FNG_cerb Jul 21 '21

It's definitely on topic. You have caused suffering to the ants by withholding a meal from them.

1

u/bologna_kazoo Jul 22 '21

I’ve made my alliance with the spider community and my home is currently under attack by the local ant militia. I stand by my decision.

1

u/joe4553 Jul 21 '21

We don't need bigger spiders...

24

u/Binge_Gaming Jul 21 '21

Is this what a Buffalo chicken looks like?

2

u/badchriss Jul 21 '21

More like a 💪buff chicken.

45

u/Hdis_miss Jul 21 '21

Also think of the breast fillets after all those bench presses

1

u/Jabrono Jul 21 '21

That brings up an interesting question, would it's front legs be dark meat like the thigh? And if so, would that cause the breast to be darker than usual since it's so close?

6

u/boredsomadereddit Jul 21 '21

Selectively breed it to get more! Now evolution has no choice - we decide!

8

u/killabeesplease Jul 21 '21

Wonder if we could engineer a chicken that’s all breast’s

21

u/King_Jaahn Jul 21 '21

That's basically what modern chickens are. Breasts basically too heavy for the chicken to carry.

Big shame, because 4-thighs chicken seems way better in my opinion.

5

u/Dru2021 Jul 21 '21

If it works for chickens, could it work for people? Asking for a friend.

3

u/AdamFitzgeraldRocks Jul 21 '21

Chickie-Pops! Atwood got there first in Oryx and Crake

2

u/chaos0510 Jul 21 '21

Technically it's non GMO lol

2

u/DeadMemeDatBoi Jul 21 '21

...duh eggs dont got em legs....

2

u/Daynebutter Jul 21 '21

Like you wouldn't miss chicken wings.

2

u/mikebellman Jul 21 '21

how would you catch the sumbitch?

2

u/JediMasterZao Jul 21 '21

This right there is the reason why chickens in the future will have 4 legs. Forget about convergent evolution, we just need more tendies and so will make it so.

2

u/Mr-Sgt Jul 21 '21

More chicken per chicken

4

u/Shubham_Arutwar Jul 21 '21

Actually we should bread this chicken to produce more 4 leg chicken so we get more leg piece out of same chicken

3

u/UnicornShitShoveler Jul 21 '21

There is a wing shortage rn so...

1

u/DeadMemeDatBoi Jul 21 '21

...duh eggs dont got em legs....
