Make a planter border, doesn’t have to be flat, just slightly graded. Plant ground cover and no one really notices. Or an above ground planter - 6-8” height and that would be all you needed.

Interlocking blocks. Build a low level retaining wall.

I think you're better off with pavers and stripping the Sod then sloping towards them , either that or my other comment

I like a cobblestone edge: large cobbles on end.
It helps if they are bedded in mortar in a solid, well drained base, but preparing a solid base, seating each stone securely, and burying at least a third seems to last a number of years before the frost action dislodges them.

Making sure the fill on the backside, if not mortar, drains well will help the stones stay in place.
You can slope the fill away from the backside of the cobble and feather the Liam up to the cobble.
A rubber mallet is a must have.

Maybe line it with river rock ? Other option is to re grade the yard
