Question I have a genuine question. Why has everyone turned on Taika Waititi?

I didn’t think L+T was stellar, but I still think he’s a great director. I saw a Twitter post where everyone was just bashing him about the movie and saying that they will never watch one of his films again. Why has he suddenly become the worst thing that’s happened to marvel to some of y’all?

Question What happened to Scott Lang’s intelligence?

4.2k Upvotes

I just rewatched Ant-Man and they set up his character as a master infiltrator and computer hacker saying that the security system he broke into at Vista Corp was “one of the most advanced in the business. Supposed to be unbeatable”. And we see him use his knowledge to break into Hank Pym’s house.

So, what happened? In every subsequent movie, he’s just… Paul Rudd.

Question What are the longest running unsolved mysteries in the MCU?

In Spider-Man:Homecoming (2017), Avengers Tower has been sold to someone. We still don't know who that is, though the characters in the MCU definitely would know who it is that bought it in 2017, who owned it during the 5 year gap, and who owns it now in 2024/2025.

Question What would you change about the MCU?

For me, I'd allow some villains to survive more than just one film. A big appeal with Loki is the fact they've allowed him to exist and therefore develop throughout multiple films. There's far too many amazing villains that are just one and done. I really liked what they were doing with 616 Mordo, but then they just kinda moved away from him. Of course not all villains need to survive each film, but a hero can still be victorious without the villain actually needing to die at the end, as it allows them to return for the sequel with amplified hatred/motives etc
