This actually happened to my father. We had our garage converted into an apartment for my sister. While sick, my sister slept with mom and dad slept in the new room. Middle of the night, ceiling fan started shaking and dropped. It hangs directly over the bed, it was being held by 2 little electrical wires. Thats the only thing that saved dad from becoming chopped sushi.
