I personally enjoy my cars and have been obsessed with cars since I was a kid, so my collection is roughly around the figure you cite. Ultimately, I'm going to spend my income however I wish but I will always support higher taxes in order to properly fund social programs. From my perspective, I will spend money on the things I love and have always loved but I'm perfectly happy to pay more taxes if that is the way it's to be. I spent the first 17 years or so of my life growing up in government-provided housing and collected welfare for a good part of my life too, so I understand the importance of those programs.
