what are some franchises that you think are *consistently* good?

it feels like a lot of major franchises have one or two entries that are in a tier significantly lower than the rest. for me the horror/slasher genre comes to mind, with all the unnecessary reboots and remakes.

but what are some franchises (of any genre) where you think every entry is good and worth watching?

Thor 1 really felt like a comic book movie to me and lacked some of the polish and smart writing of things like Ironman. Thats one reason I like it so much. Now once they get to Ragnarok, holy hell, its a masterpiece because it sorta has both sides of the coin.
