I gotta give Tarintino a lot of credit on this issue, because it is very clear that he shows a lot of respect to all of his non-western influences. He truly seems to enjoy the purity of cinema without bias from all cultures equally. He will even distinguish Korean cinema vs Japanese vs Hong Kong, whereas just about any other white person would lump them all under “Asian” or “Eastern”

Yes that is what I like the most about Tarantino!

He wars his isnpiration on his sleeves but has his own voice making them into something more than just a nod or reference, and he is very outspoken about it
