Like why does a parent always have to be dead?? 1 u/Reverieami Aug 13 '21 Because when disney finally made it big he bought a house for his mom. there was a gas leak and it killed her. So he blamed himself for her death for the rest of his life and always put themes of death of parents in his movies.
