Man I can't wait for the day when this dude is far out of our collective memory that we're not posting pictures of him any more. Four years was enough let it die

155

u/megapuffranger 16d ago

He is going to run again, or so he says. People pretending like just because he got voted out he is done and will never be a problem again. Ignorance and complacency is how his qult will infect our government once more. While I agree these joke meme posts do nothing, the moment we stop talking about Trump, he wins. He is a criminal and deserves punishment, being rich and famous doesn’t put you above the law and pretending he doesn’t exist doesn’t make his crimes go away either.

8

u/Autarch_Kade 15d ago

According to him he won this latest election. He thinks Biden isn't the legitimate president.

If Trump was elected twice then he is ineligible to run for election again, maybe once he hears that he'll stop with that line of nonsense lol

5

u/buddha8298 15d ago

Nah, because remember according to him "Obama spied on him" and that should count for a free term.

2

u/CxOrillion 15d ago

I hope he does run again. Ez winnfor whoever the Dem candidate is. Assuming Biden of course

6

u/thecwestions 16d ago

Litigation will be his downfall.

25

u/Orangecuppa 15d ago

he has no downfall.

people said he would be behind bars the moment he lost the election. what has happened so far? absolutely nothing.

Nothing will happen. If there's one thing Trump was right about, its that America needed the swamp to be drained. Society is fucked. Healthcare is fucked. Economic disparity is still everywhere.

5

u/pgymjp 15d ago

Sadly, I agree. The motherfucker was impeached TWICE and the Senate failed to convict…how many times? That’s right. Twice. Even though he probably has nowhere near the wealth he claims, he’s still rich and we know the rich don’t pay for crimes in the United States.

11

u/CascadeClimber 15d ago

Oh Lordy I hope so

8

u/stark_resilient 15d ago

You know what kept talking about Trump? CNN, cuz it gave him free publicity and look how that turned out.

23

u/megapuffranger 15d ago

Look how what turned out? You think CNN got Trump elected? I don’t understand

9

u/Ron-Swanson-Mustache 15d ago

Yeah, to the Trumpites this is what they think:

He's owning the media elite. He's trolling them. It's all 4d chess. He knows better. Really. Everything else he said is correct and this was just him saying something to blow their minds and make the haters stand out.

Remember he's literally following the Roger Stone playbook who said:

The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about

The only thing worse than bad news is no news. It's better to be in the media at all, even for saying things that are obviously wrong, than to be ignored. To not be part of the conversation anymore.

Trump also pardoned Stone from prison for what amounts to treason.

15

u/aseedman 15d ago

Yes. Constant coverage and publicity got trump elected. Doesn’t matter where the content came from.

27

u/megapuffranger 15d ago

No, people not taking him seriously is how he got elected. No one thought he could win, we all thought people were smart enough to see him for what he was. By the time it was becoming clear he was a legit threat it was too late.

8

u/aseedman 15d ago

The “people” you’re referring to collected those opinions because of the constant coverage. We’re splitting hairs at this point. These are both reasons why he got elected in addition to a million other things.

11

u/Hab1b1 15d ago

That’s the point though. Highlighting his idiocy constantly put him in the spotlight. Then if a mistake happens, supporters jump on it. “Fake news” making their comments even less impactful.

Not to mention the underdog effect.

4

u/Catastrio 15d ago

None of these things have the effect on elections that you think they do.

-1

u/Hab1b1 15d ago

Sure kid!! I’m sure you know better than everyone else. How about you go ahead and tell me how I’m wrong

No one thought he could win, we all thought people were smart enough to see him for what he was.

Not sure who is less smart, the one who votes for someone like Trump or the one who doesn't exercise one of his few rights as a citizen. I'm inclined towards the latter.

3

u/TommiHPunkt 15d ago

People who voted for trump don't watch CNN

2

u/pgymjp 15d ago

But the news outlets they do watch denigrate CNN and all the other “fake news” outlets about how unfair it all is to god emperor Donny boy.

5

u/Alastor3 15d ago

he wont. He clearly started all this as a joke, if you look at his face the day he won, he couldn't believe and didn't wanted to. Also must be a huge stress on the body, even if he wasn't working like 99% of the time. Hopefully, his health will be in decline in 3-4 years

8

u/megapuffranger 15d ago

At this point he needs to be President to stop the investigations. Plus he knows he can scam his supporters out of all their money if he attempts to run again.

-8

u/TheStandler 15d ago

I'd love for him to run again. Voters don't like a loser (Sorry, Bernie) cuz they care more about their party winning than they care about 'perfect' representation. Both parties these days hate the other MORE than they love a particular candidate so they pick someone safe versus someone 'good'. (See: lame ol' Joe Biden winning the Dem nomination.) Trump running again would send so much disarray into the Republican presidential-nominee election. Please, Trump, run again, you dumb loser.

15

u/kyoto_kinnuku 15d ago

He’s different though. He had crazy support in the Republican Party. The democrats never had anyone that could excite people like that. Bernie excited people but not with the intensity or reach of Trump.

13

u/mschuster91 15d ago

That is only because mass media all too willingly gave Trump so fucking much free airtime whereas Bernie was mostly ignored.

2

u/Xarthys 15d ago

Bernie (among other candidates) is supporting certain developments that are detrimental to the upper class. It doesn't matter how much the media impacts this, the elite will never allow for such drastic changes, not under their watch.

Maybe with the older generation dying out, those taking their place will have a change of heart, but I really doubt it. The only way someone like Bernie can make it is in a system that truly cares about society - but relevant systemic changes seem unlikely (for now).

However, I still think people should keep voting for candidates who are pushing for positive changes (such as Bernie), even if chances for election are slim.

Never give up on good ideas, despite low probability for change. Change will come eventually, just not any time soon. Keeping up that pressure and continuing to be involved in politics is much more important than one specific person getting the chance to rule for 4 years.

Politics is a personality cult right now, but the concepts are the real reasons to fight for. Ultimately, it doesn't matter who implements them, as long as it gets done properly.

5

u/kyoto_kinnuku 15d ago

The Democratic Party also rigged the primary against him. The head of the DNC actually resigned Bc of it iirc. They’re corrupt and they don’t care. The Democrats are fine with winning or losing because losing excites and motivates their base for the next election.

0

u/Trill-I-Am 15d ago

Why do you think older black voters don’t like Bernie?

3

u/kyoto_kinnuku 15d ago

No idea tbh. Didn’t he march in the OG civil rights marches?

1

u/JulioCesarSalad 15d ago

A lot of people did

1

u/TheStandler 15d ago

Sure. Bernie lost the first primary which paved the way to his loss of the second... but Trump lost the presidency, and that to the guy he'll likely run up against again. The republican party is, despite popular belief, still not that homogeneous to the point every person is a rabid fan. There are plenty of more moderate people in the party who will rather try someone else than risk putting in someone with a demonstrated history of loss to Biden. The same way there were people in the Democratic party who had FAR bigger favorites in candidates other than Biden but still pivoted to him becuase they were so terrified of another 4 years of Trump.

2

u/kyoto_kinnuku 15d ago

Maybe you’re right. I don’t even live in the US. Good luck with the crazy politics ~ 😅

2

u/musicninja 15d ago

You think Biden is going to run again? Dude's old. He'll be 81 (almost 82) by the time the election comes again. No chance.

2

u/TheStandler 15d ago edited 15d ago

I don't know. I certainly hope he doesn't for that reason, actually. I don't think age is actually enough for people to not vote for someone if they're otherwise healthy in appearance though, tbh. I think age is far more a number for most people, and in terms of their decisions on president it's far further down the list on what they decide on, especially for an incumbent.

And if he DOES bow out, I still don't think most moderate but committed Republicans would be comfortable voting for a guy who lost the presidential election. Why would they? Even if the poll numbers are true that a third believe he won, he'd still have at least one third believing he is a loser as an incumbent president (something that is NOT common at all, btw). Add in some more reasonable candidates who present themselves as being able to beat the Democrats, and the primary gets real messy. I'd be far more worried about the guy who comes after Trump than Trump himself against any Dem candidate in 2024, Biden or otherwise.

2

u/Poemformysprog 15d ago

Voters don’t like a loser, but enough of those voters don’t think he actually lost. Him getting re-elected could be a real possibility

1

u/TheStandler 15d ago

Presidential elections aren't won by getting your diehards to vote for you, they're won by getting votes on the margins. Again, see Biden - he won the nomination and the election because he was moderate in enough areas to make gains in the Democratic margins. He'll lose the GOP nomination for that alone - enough Republicans aren't so crazy they can't recognize that Trump lost on the margins (but I welcome him to try - the chaos will be glorious).

1

u/SDF5150 15d ago

Good chance that if he does run again, he'll win. New voting laws have passed in Georgia and Nevada that basically help enforce voter suppression. There's absolutely no way this country can afford 4 more years of him.

13

u/Hab1b1 15d ago

I’m good with reminding us how absolutely horrendous he was. He’s still being supported by many

6

u/president_dump 15d ago

Never forget. We need to learn from this moron.

22

u/shavenyakfl 16d ago

Keep eating those cheeseburgers, Donnie. Just keep beating those cheeseburgers.

1

u/icepick314 15d ago

Still a medical miracle though.

Bad diet for decades and he's still kicking and breathing.

3

u/Ghostiemann 15d ago

The real issue is not Trump. It’s Trumpism without Trump. The same approach applied by someone who is not a moron. That’s where the danger lies.

Even with Trump out of the way there is still real danger.

4

u/PrudentFlamingo 15d ago

The wound is festering because the infection is still there. Only when the infection is dealt with will healing begin.

-1

u/ReallyOverIt24 15d ago

Lmao whatever you say

100 years from now, whatever site is the "new reddit" will still be posting about this man and his small hands

3

u/Bosmonster 15d ago

He was 70 and going senile in 2016. He will be 78 and completely gone in 2024.

Will be a fun spectacle.

4

u/jackruby83 15d ago

Will be a fun spectacle.

That's what we said when he ran the first time, when we believed he didn't have a chance.

3

u/kfkrneen 15d ago

Yeah. This stopped being funny a long time ago. It's not a joke anymore.

1

u/AcadianMan 15d ago

People kept saying he was senile, but I just think he’s a bumbling moron. He’s probably been like that his whole life.

1

u/Bosmonster 15d ago

We can perhaps agree on both.

-37

u/Kmccabe1213 16d ago

Then stop talking about him... his loss happened 10 months ago but people wont let it go... just move on and stop looking back at it.

11

u/scroti_mcboogerballs 16d ago

I'm case you haven't noticed, he's not going anywhere soon. He will run again in 2024, guaranteed.

1

u/NormanConquest 16d ago

Except this time it'll only attract the die hards. He'll be more far gone down the hole of self-delusion, his rambling speech will be less coherent, he'll more openly court white supremacists and people like the mypillow guy.

It'll be a much more depressing, more tragic, pathetic thing and the worst part is that tens of millions will vote for him.

I don't reckon he'll get past the primaries though. The GOP might court him publicly but they know his toxicity isn't worth it anymore.

5

u/stemcell_ 15d ago

There is no more gop its now trumps party. Frankenstein's monster has no taken over

3

u/Bowflexing 15d ago

I don't reckon he'll get past the primaries though. The GOP might court him publicly but they know his toxicity isn't worth it anymore.

It's absolutely worth it to them. His brand of "convservatism" drives the party's base, which willing to let him shit in their mouths as long as liberals have to smell it.

If the party could survive without him, the reaction to 1/6 would have been much different. Not to mention that sitting GOP members now have a very real example of what his followers are willing to do in his name. It's shitty but I can definitely understand those fears.

15

u/Berdarien 16d ago

So mad.

-16

u/Kmccabe1213 16d ago

Lol just pointing out the obvious

7

u/AbstracTyler 16d ago

LOL

-9

u/Kmccabe1213 16d ago

Literally downvoted for saying ignore an irrelevant person lol. Hes not president anymore move on.

10

u/peanut_brutter 16d ago

Except he's not irrelevant. He's trying to run again, and he is by far the most powerful person in the GOP.

Hard to 'move on' when the traitorous piece of shit is still actively trying to destroy democracy. Get real...

7

u/shavenyakfl 16d ago

Its harder to do when he won't go away, like all his predecessors.

1

u/Kmccabe1213 16d ago

Ignore them. They are a very small population media gives them power. Just look the other way and they will go away

4

u/thecwestions 16d ago

The difference is that Trump packed numerous lifetimes of criminal behavior into his presidency. Every day new information comes out about how dangerous and corrupt it was. The only chance we'll have to "look the other way" is when he's convicted and ends up in prison. Until then, the wound he dealt this country continues to fester.

-4

u/Billyray710 16d ago

It does get really old. It’s like these people wouldn’t have a life if there was no Trump to bitch about.

1

u/darth_budha 15d ago

Someone on Reddit suggested that Trump be put Truman Show like situation and I am all for it!

1

u/iced327 15d ago

"Those who don't learn from history", dude. We NEED to keep talking about it so that we recognize the forces that put him in power. Especially since they're still out there, and they're still trying to undermine democracy.

1

u/ConfidenceNational37 15d ago

He’s trying to turn the traitor Ashley Babbit into a martyr. If you don’t see where that leads you’ve never looked at history.

1

u/Crake241 15d ago

The Game of Thrones Writers need to write a campaign for trump because they already eradicated their series from collective memory.

1

u/PMmeYourNoodz 15d ago

no. remember and learn.

1

u/BackgroundJudge2896 15d ago

Not until Jan 6th is accounted for

-20

u/djm123 16d ago

I could totally watch Hunter Biden meth fueled sex tapes instead Trump

12

u/Alive-Asparagus8472 16d ago

I hear T****'s Russian prostitute pee tape is a hot item on dark net.

No wonder he was always bending over for Putin's dick.

-13

u/djm123 16d ago

That’s a conspiracy theory just like bigfoot. Apparently there is a pee tape that all libs dream about but no one has seen. As oppose to Hunters tapes that are all over the place. lol. You guys are really good at this conspiracy theory business.

9

u/MichJohn67 16d ago

I better not vote for Hunter Biden then!

THANK YOU for the warning. In which election is Hunter Biden running, though, so I know not to vote for him?

-8

u/djm123 16d ago

Please read the original comment I’m replying to.

8

u/MichJohn67 16d ago

Yeah, you mentioned Hunter Biden's sex tapes, right?

Those are germane because he's running for some important office, right?

-3

u/djm123 16d ago

Nope. Try again.

6

u/MichJohn67 16d ago

Why did you bring up Hunter Biden's sex tapes? I'm confused?

8

u/thecwestions 16d ago

Hunter's tapes, just like his laptop, don't exist, and even if they did, so what? They're not the actual president's. It's just more "buttery mails" and "Bengazhi" bullshit with you people, trying to drag names through the mud by nothing more than association. We can do that, too. WhErE aRe IvAnKa'S eMaIlS?!?! Speaking of Bengazhi, how many Americans died there as compared to Trump's botched Covid response? Where's our select committee for that debacle spanning years?

-3

u/djm123 16d ago

Stop it where you said. Don’t exist. That’s a lie. Go back watch the videos. Come back again to simp for Hunter.

11

u/thecwestions 16d ago

Alright, then! Let's have them! ...or did Tucker Carlson lose them again? Oh, darn! I guess I'll just have to go back to " reading the transcripts" again...

BTW, literally no one cares about Hunter. He's not the one running the country... But nice continued attempt at deflection.

6

u/Alive-Asparagus8472 16d ago

Deflect, obfuscate, gaslight. It's all they do. Yeah and they might have to look up some of those big words

-3

u/Fragbob 15d ago

I don't really give a shit about Hunter Biden either... that being said you're absolutely wrong about the videos not being available.

Video 1: Hunter Biden & naked prostitute discussing how the Russians got access to one of his laptops.

Video 2: Hunter Biden smoking crack on multiple different occasions.

Video 3: Hunter Biden arguing with his brothers Widow and then smoking crack.

Edit: Most of these videos are going to be NSFW obviously.

3

u/nod_23 15d ago

pretty creepy that trumps october surprise was dick pics of biden's son. also hysterical he thought that would move the needle, in general i mean...it obviously moves your needle.

Trump 2024!

2

u/noradosmith 15d ago edited 15d ago

How's life in a cult?

Seriously, are you a fan of fascism? Because if everyone acted like you do, the USA would be a fascist state.

By the looks of things you may get worse presidents unless you stop the election rigging that allowed Biden to be president. But the great thing about trump having become president is that it inspires future generations towards greatness.

Zero proof of election rigging. You're actually a moron. No other words for it. You're a moron.

1

u/mackinoncougars 15d ago

Keep worshipping Trump as a god.
