I just binged Owl House with my almost 4 year old. Holy shit, was not expecting it to be so fun and refreshing, especially when compared to other Disney schlock.

Dude, if you’ve been sleeping on Disney’s animated TV shows then you are missing out. They are REALLY damn good and Disney allows the creators to take a LOT more risks than those working on the films.

Be sure to check out Gravity Falls, Amphibia, and Duck Tales if you liked TOH!

Edit: Big City Greens is great too!

I’m still mad at how they cancelled Ducktales. That series finale was clearly not the endgame the creators wanted.

If you think that ones good...and it is....watch Centuarworld...holy shit.

Ehhhh... that one is gonna be hit or miss for most adults. Way too many stupid jokes that don't land. It gets good by the end, but I really had to force myself to get through the first half a season.

If you are only lightly paying attention to the surface then a little, but there is such an extreme amount of depth even in those silly jokes, that if you are really paying attention virtually every bit of sillyness is actually terribly dark, even the fart jokes largely reveal a history of horrible parental abuse. This show is freakin hard core.

Perhaps, but you don't know any of that until after at least half a season. Before that it's just dumb fart jokes.

And that's why it's so rewatchable lol...

And also why it will lose viewers in the early parts.

Dun think so, there are enough strong hooks in there to keep people watching early on.

I've had quite a few convos with people who didn't get past episode 1.

Well it's up to you to correct that mistake now isn't it? :p

Disney's animated TV shows have gotten a SEVERE boost in quality lately! I watch them instead of Nicktoons or CN originals now!

Honestly, kid's animated shows have gotten a big bump in quality when it comes to having not-episodic shows. I can recommend you some animated shows so you can get your kid hooked on watching good shows you "have" to watch.
