Don't forget the one about a single mother working three jobs. Why should someone need three jobs to support a family?

No one actually works 3 jobs in the US, statistically speaking. Only 5% of American workers have more than one job.

Got a source for that?

A lot of people work side gigs that they don’t even count as jobs such as driving for Uber, working at grocery delivery services like Shipt, and doing freelance work in their free time.

The multiple jobholding rate—the percentage of workers who held more than one job at the same time—was 4.9 percent in 2017.
