There are living in a fantasy world and living beyond reality. The least they can do is wear a mask it's not that much to help themselves and collectively as a community for the better of all.

Saying masks don't do shit is pretty limiting and just not true. Masks are not 100% going to stop but they help drastically decrease risk when combined with other easy measure.

Yes n95 worn 100% perfectly will stop most transmission. In reality, even when faced with strict mask laws, fines, and high vaccination rates in Asian countries, the virus still wins because gen pop cannot be perfect with how they wear the mask and delta is much more transmissible.

And in schools? Good luck getting kids to wear masks effectively to do anything.

I never said 100%. No one thinks masks work 100% and humans aren't responsible enough to follow traffic laws and wash their hands let alone deal with wearing a mask. No one is perfect. But utilizing all the tools we have is the best option for everyone that is able.

I live in a higher vaccinated area and our rates our super low because there's less spread now. I recently went to a lower vaccinated state and it was shocking how little people did any of these responsible rules to help decrease spread. I work in healthcare and covid practically dropped off the map for both ER and ICU where I live where just a few weeks ago in the lower state it was already begining to get obvious that covid was coming back.

Yes, masks and humans aren't perfect but these states and areas have never participated and buckled down long enough for anything to work or help.

If adults did the adult thing and got vaccinated we wouldn't have to worry as much about kids being kids and not following rules all the time. But here we are talking about "reality and nature vs humans".
