It's actually partially de-criminalized, for what that's worth. 1/2 ounce or less is a fine and a misdemeanor. And Virginia is like an hour drive and it's fully legal there. So there is some hope.
Man I hope it all works out for you. I moved from Massachusetts to Michigan three years ago. I don't want to live anywhere I have to worry about having an ounce or smoking a joint while I watch my dogs play in my yard.
