Randy is easily my favorite character.

u/psycho_pete Apr 08 '18
I didn't realize how much I loved him til I saw this post, as silly as that may sound. He's the best part of the show hands down.

All of the best episodes are Randy Marsh episodes
43
u/Jewski28 Apr 08 '18 edited Apr 08 '18
Agreed. I've always said that my dream episode would be Randy and Butters stranded on an island trying to figure out how get back home.
Edit: Wrote comment while drunk, meant to say Randy, not Stan 😬
61
u/Mt_Arreat Apr 08 '18
How does that involve Randy?
81
u/IrateGuy Apr 08 '18
Well they're alone. On an island. And islands tend to have marshes. Maybe one day one of them will get stuck... And have to take off their clothes. And then the other will help, suddenly they're both naked and covered in mud.
Stan, Butters and the randy marsh. By J.K Rowling.

Haha. Wrong time zone, only just woke up... But yes, maybe you're still right! :P
1
u/You_is_probably_Wong Apr 08 '18
omg that would be a good plot
edit: they start hallucinating from hydration loss and butters somehow sees them in his mirror because he tried acid and gets grounded for talking to himself, but also saves their lives by telling them how to get clean drinking water from sea water

As someone who started watching at 12, Cartman was my favourite. As a grown man with a job now I found myself identifying with Randy.

It's a wine tasting and it's classy okay!

South Park does this awesome thing of testing the waters with characters. There's often 2 main stories going on in some episodes and allows them see how people react to giving minor characters bigger parts.
Craig didn't pan out, pip definatly didn't, tweak too.
But Randy did really well. As did Butters. And they're both awesome.

It pisses me off they switched from Hi-C Orange to Orange Fanta. I like my orange soda carbonation free.

What's worse is there is a McDonald's near me that switches them back and forth. Got used to ordering Fanta then I go to take a drink. Boom Hi-C Orange. Go another day. Back to Fanta. Just playing with my emotions.

u/thraashman Apr 08 '18
I believe he bought a blockbuster or something
5
u/satanicpriest13 Apr 08 '18
Yeah buys a blockbuster as they're going out of business and spends the episode hyping his purchase and forcing Stan to work.

u/Twitch92 Apr 08 '18

A Nightmare on Face Time
"A Nightmare on FaceTime" is the twelfth episode of the sixteenth season of the American animated sitcom South Park, and the 235th episode of the series overall. It premiered on Comedy Central in the United States on October 24, 2012. In the story, aspects of which parody the 1980 film The Shining, Randy Marsh purchases a Blockbuster video store and demands that his reluctant family work in it on Halloween with him. The title of the episode is a reference to A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Now I know what to do with all my shutterfly wins. Can't figure out how to do it tho

They give away tons of stuff their app daily, but shipping costs are always crazy high. Like around $12.95 to ship your free coasters.

Are Randy and Jimbo actually related? I know stan calls him uncle Jimbo, but you almost never see Randy and Jimbo doing together unless its driving a confederate army through fucking nebraska, or bouncing around on cancerous giant testicles.
Or I suppose he could be Sharons brother.
Edit: I looked it up. Apparently Jimbo is Randy's half-brother. They have the same mother, who left Jimbo's dad for Randy's dad.

Kind for Cures
Kind for Cures was a medicinal marijuana dispensary located in the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles County. The marijuana dispensary inhabited a building that was previously occupied by a Kentucky Fried Chicken. The store opened in 2009 and the owners' decision to keep the same KFC acronym garnered national media attention, including being the inspiration for an episode of South Park in 2010. However, on June 10, 2015, the owners were ordered to shut down the business by the afternoon of June 11, 2015.

I once read the only person/group Trey felt bad about ripping on was his dad. Apparently in the early ones Randy was loosely inspired by him, but somewhere along the way he went waaay off the rails.
My fav of those is 'i thought this was america', but they're all pretty great!
