That may not be a humble thing to do, but they could still remain the most humble person in the world if everyone else is much less humble.
It's all relative.

Hmm i think being humble is the fact that you just accept things, even though if he took that title doesnt mean he/she wasnt necessarily being humble about it, like wouldnt it imply that you are rejecting something that people would want to bestow to you, thus i think its just a big parradox of misunderstanding.

Its rude to decline an honor someone wants to give you. How arrogant can you be to think your opinion matters more than theirs?

Humility in this sense requires an understanding of yourself untainted by pride. If you didn’t know, then you weren’t humble, just ignorant of your position. A humble person would know, but not be prideful about it.

Well, someone is the most humble person in the world whether they accept it or not. Just as someone is the ugliest. Just because the don't accept the title doesn't mean they're not it.
