What joke could have possibly caused someone to swat him?

Those retards over at Twitter can get offended over the image of a bread.

I swear. If you put an image of white bread, and tweet "I like white bread 🍞" you are likely to be called a racist.

And don't even get me started on K pop fanatics...

Except you picked a poor example. If you look at the history of white bread, you'll see the systemic racism. In 1892 when Dr. Arthur Vaughn was looking for ways to make a new type of bread flower, it was actually his black house keeper that had the idea to not use the entire grain and only use the starchy endosperm. Vaughn was not too happy that decades of research had netted him nothing and this seemingly simple but revolutionary idea was brought to him by his house keeper. In retaliation, he fired the house keeper but kept the recipe and marketed the new bread as "white" bread to spite her. Also, 10 years later he wrote her to tell her I made this all up.

I'm out of the loop with K-Pop fanatics. What's up with them

This video is gonna fill you in better than I could, but in summary, the K pop Stans (that's how they call themselves) have a pathological obsession with Korean pop stars and their music, tend to fall into mob mentality, and are fervent believers of cancel culture, constantly flooding and attempting to cancel those they disagree with.

To clarify, they are an extreme minority, but this is one of the loudest minorities on twitter. Most k pop followers are normal people, but the Stans are batshit insane.

Even the non-stans tend to be pretty weird

Yes, but you have weird, and you have "I will try getting you fired" weird

He said that if your hungry, you should eat. Some asshole got offended by that, saying it was targeting Africa. He ended up getting his addressed leaked, then swatted.

Pardon my ignorance. What does “swat” mean in this context?

So, is it like someone accused the guy in Twitter of whatever so as he got arrested? I didn’t even know this was a thing!

Not really, when you swat someone you call in a tip with wild enough accusations to have cops send in a swat team. It's pretty obvious on the scene that it was a false tip, so folks don't get arrested (might be detained, but it doesn't result in charges for the victim). The fucked up part is there have been cases of people, pets, etc getting injured or even killed due to swatting from things as petty as social media or video game rivalries.

It's obviously illegal to do this, but clearly not illegal enough.
