I accidentally settled with ProtonVpn. Free unlimited.

Mullvad maybe slightly better for privacy in how it accepts payments, but I hear it's apps are not properly optimised.

Windscribe is great alternative too.

I love accidentally signing up for accidental mullvad which accidentally doesn't ask for literally any information to create an account and just generates a random account number. You can also accidentally mail in cash to avoid accidentally providing information through PayPal or credit card details if you care that much.

You can use any return address since there's no law that it has to be correct - like how you can send mail from Santa Clause to a kid and put a fake north pole address on it. The only consequence is that if it gets returned to sender, it will get returned there or end up in a dead letter office. You could put the post office address or the local library.

Mullvad also sells physical gift cards on amazon (options for 6 months or 1 year). It's just as anonymous as sending cash but with the added benefit of not having to sit around and wait for your payment to arrive in Sweden.
