What bind. You pay for streams of content. The sub is just a container. The sharing made them money as the sharing had people get 4 streams of 4k cause they could justify it and it would mostly sit dorment. They were fools and greedy and now they pay the cost of hubris.

That is just normal business practice though. No business with any plan that involves anything “up to” calculate with the upper limit being used by too many customers, that just can’t work.

Account sharing increases the average, so they have to react by either increasing price, changing the package or get people to lower that average usage.
