Okay cool. Follow these steps to see if it solves the issue:

1) use the built in network adapter troubleshooter. It can be found in settings>update and security>troubleshoot>additional troubleshooters>network adapter. If the network adapter troubleshooter finds no issues, run the internet connections troubleshooter.

2)open device manager, open the network adapter drop down menu, find your Wifi card in the list, it'll usually say 802.11 or something, and right click on it, select properties, and check the device status in the Window that appears. If it says device is working properly, close that window. Right click on it again and select update driver> search for drivers automatically. If it says the best driver is installed, close that window, go back to device manager and right click on the network card again. Select uninstall device. Reboot your system.

I believe i found a solution. This is a common issue with scp toolkit apparently. follow this:

Open RUN ( win+R) and type services.msc

Look for SCP DSx Service, right click, and select Stop

Now you need to open device manager, open RUN (Win+R), type devmgmt.msc

Under libusbK USB Devices, right-click on the device you want to fix in this case 802.11 n WLAN and select uninstall

A small window will popup, make sure the checkbox is checked for "Delete the driver software for this device" and hit Ok

Now on the toolbar at the top, click on the last icon that says "Scan for hardware changes

In your device manager, there is a dropdown menu that says libusbk USB device correct? Is there a device that says 802.11 under that drop down menu? If so, right click on it and uninstall it.

Try unplugging it and plug it back in and see if it detects it.

The thing is my adapter once connected has these green lights that turn on. Even though it is connected rn those lights dont work. Repluging it dosent work. Its like it dosent exist
