Will a 65w USB c charger work Open | Hardware

I have a new gigabyte laptop, it comes with a 230w charger, but I am also looking into getting a USB-C charger so that I can have a small one for on the go, like in classes and stuff. Would getting a 65w charger work? I know it would be slower but would it suffice?

the battery is about 49 whrs

If it supports being charged via type c you probably would want to go with 100 w. More than likely a 65 watt or even the 100 watt won't provide enough power under heavy usage. If it's just for charging it when it's idle that's probably more than enough.
