Can you follow up and ask how they plan to obtain accurate short interest?

I've never seen as many buttholes screaming "GimME" as I have here over the last 9 months.

How sad is it that it's an anomaly for us to go three weeks without the entire stock market increasing in value by over 1% in a single day.

He wasn't way ahead of his time. It's not like they invented stop loss hunting specifically for GME. That's existed ever since trading went electric.

Pretty bullish that Amazon feels directly threatened by GME.

I guarantee Chukumba thinks his overlords will take care of him. Every major crash, there are hundreds of the inconsequential puppets that just get forgotten about. They don't end up in prison. They don't get talked about. They're just left broke and forgotten. This is Chukumbas fate and he doesn't even realize it.

You can take 2.5 seconds from Google to find dozens of sources. It was all over everything this week.

This is also a meme, and clearly labeled as a shitpost. Learn to enjoy life at least a little bit.

Yahoo Finance's infrastructure isn't even sophisticated enough to trick people if they tried. It's probably the least reliable place to get accurate market info. I didn't know so many people were taking that so seriously lmao.

For the smoothbrain apes that would like more perspective.
These drawings represent roughly a beta of -1.00 just using an eye test. GME had a beta of -22.00 as of the latest Bloomberg terminal data.

I can't believe there isn't more outrage over the two fed presidents selling their entire portfolios right now.
The Fed basically dragged the stock market kicking and screaming to more than 100% growth in barely over a year. And then right before they're going to pull the rug, they go cash.

It's bullish because they're going to do it without employees for the most part. Which I have mixed feelings about.
We have the technology to eliminate a lot of human work. Which I'm all for. But if we are going to do that, we need to alter how the economy works. You can't take all the jobs away and still use a system that forces people to work to survive.
Weird side rant, but bare with me I'm retarded.

Still not quite right. It's not like people just randomly picked a ticker and said "I'm gonna buy that." The transformation was already in the works in mid 2020 when it was still trading in the mid single digits.
I prefer the correct order to be protrayed in the narrative. The company was beginning a complete transformation with Ryan Cohen's influence. This caught investors attention, and put a larger spotlight on the short position in it. These two factors drew investors in. Hedge funds guaranteed the success of GameStop's transformation by cheating in January, which gave investors the resolve to gladly eat up a couple of offerings.
It is a company that was going to completely transform itself already. Hedge funds just gave them $1.7 billion in free capital to do it.

Tbh part of me just wants to watch for free as a "fuck you" to the NFL for making this ridiculous deal in the first place. It's absurd to me that there are probably hundreds of thousands of households that are begging the NFL to take their $300 a year and they're just like "nahh".
Edit: To clarify I just mean it's absurd that we have to jump through hoops of lies just to pay them $300. I'm not going to put that much effort forth to try to spend money somewhere. I'm the customer, it's not my job to work.

I think the one caveat is when someone tells you something and then tells you it's a secret after having already told you.
I was mixed when I first read the thread, because I thought yeah I pretty much tell my wife everything. Comments made me think more and I realized I know a lot about my friends that I haven't told her.

I would pay the $300 or whatever it is in a heartbeat. But I will never be caught dead giving business to DirecTV. NFL probably left an absolute fuckton of money choosing one of the worst TV providers in the country for an exclusive partnership.

I would reckon you could've avoided this, but the car is still at fault. They did something illegal. You were just somewhat unaware of your surroundings.

I refuse to sell a share while the buy button is disabled, because I know with 100% certainty who the counterparty to that sale would be, and they can't have my fucking shares.

Well they've been lying about inflation every month, so I expect another lie to be published on the 14th.
They're just changing what's in the basket to get as low of a number as they can
When everything anyone buys on a regular basis has gone up 30-40% since last year, home prices have nearly doubled in two years, that means inflation isn't 5 fucking percent.
