If youre jeff bezos or something you might have a footprint that size. The average vegan uses 18x less land than average person and a veggie burger instead of a burger saves 1000 gallons of water. You can be a vegan and still do other things that destroy the environment (if youre rich), but all things constant, vegan lifestyle comes on top for environmental catastrophe mitigation.

It might, but It's the truth. The amazon is key in keeping the global atmosphere at sustainable levels, and the reason it is being deforested is global cattle demand.

And yes, it is possible for a portion of the population to eat meat regularly or for the entire population to ration it, while still being sustainable. And im not trying to be preachy either, im just saying going vegan is by far the best thing anyone can personally do.

I think the vegan aspect is the far more important part of reducing waste, so dont feel too bad about throwing stuff out. Your'e still using far less resources than others in similar situations.

From my recollection hurricanes have gotten less bad, at least in florida. There are so many factors that go into this and the largest factors are not human related.

I think that it gradually will have an affect on hurricane severity, but Ida is not a good example imo.

I dont think we will see a big difference until technology can simply remove carbon from the oceans. We know what we have to do and most people will not do it. We have to go vegan and stop buying thing we dont need. Also we dont know that this was caused by humans, hurricanes happen every year.
