Car wash soap works well. Remember to always clean it after leaving a body of water to reduce the risk of transporting invasive plants.

You know, I honestly feel bad for this guy. He actually turned his life around, from being an addict to a successful businessperson, just to throw it all away again on conspiracies. He went from an inspirational pillow salesman, to one of the biggest schmucks out there. All for what?

Only on things that you need or actually want. If you are looking for sales just to look for sales, then that’s not too frugal. If you are looking for sales on the things you need or have wanted then that is being frugal.

I did the survey. I can tell you my top 3 concerns when buying a product (generally) are price, reliability, and environmental impact. Not always that order.

How much is it worth it to get it today? Paying amazon $12 and you wont get it for 1-2 days (longer if there is a delivery problem or they ship the wrong item). Is it worth it to you $5 for the ability to grab the book and read right away?

My wife and I have Mint and it works great in our area. It is based off T-Mobile so if their network is strong by you mint will work great. A year of service on mint is $190 if prepaid (unlimited text, calls and 3gb data).

I took the car into the dealer at 90k and they performed that service as described in the manual. I just decided to do a brake job since I have never had a car get 100k miles on the original pads/rotors before.

COMMENT 29d ago

Lol you said pee pee!

COMMENT 29d ago

Southeastern US. It was surprisingly straightforward to disassemble. Only one rotor was stuck to the hub and required use of the old equalizer. The bolts all backed out nice with a little leverage to start. All in all it was the best brake job I have ever done.

COMMENT 29d ago

To me, an armchair mechanic, they look practically brand new.

I just hit the 100k mile mark and (even though it’s not called for in the manual) I decided to do a brake job. With this ultra low maintenance car my tinkering itch wasn’t getting scratched so I had to do something. But yea, these are the factory pads after 100k miles.
