LeBron has been bringing the ball up the court and running the O for his team since 2003 and you're saying he's not a PG. Think about that for a second

COMMENT 1d ago
Right. And Simmons isn't in the top 20
0
COMMENT 1d ago
That is incorrect. LeBron has been the primary ball handler/PG for the great majority of his career.

COMMENT 1d ago
I don't think he's top 20. If Ben is a PG then so is LeBron & Luka. There are just too many pure PG's that are far better primary ball handlers then Simmons.

Andrew "The Boston Strangler" Toney . Came off of the bench for the early 80's 76er's. He should of started and been the #1 option in front of Dr. J & Moses. Won a title then he foot went bad. He was a smaller James Harden. Barkley said "forget about Doc & Moses, Andrew Toney was the best player on those 76er's teams.". A freak talent who wasn't utilized properly.

If they can get a pile of 1st's in the deal it may not be too bad. That's what I'm preparing myself for

I'm rooting for Jah to be a 30 mpg tank commander for someone. What shit team needs a Center? 18 & 8 and 25 wins no problem

COMMENT 4d ago
Absolutely but it's humorous in Minny's case because they're a shit team as is.

It's really fascinating. That Wolves roster is a 30-35 win team at best but according to "sources" their core players are all untouchable.

His shot is so fucking ugly. Fascinating really

That's ridiculous. If the Blazers get off to a poor start Dame is gone. If they miss the playoffs Dame is gone. Players of Lillard's caliber are not going to waste their entire prime on mediocre/bad teams. Good FO's are going to make an effort to rebuild if their team fails to ever break through and the payroll gets too high. I don't think Dame ends up in Philly but I bet he's playing for another team by next October.

Right. And if Harris wasn't a low energy, low IQ shit defender Young would of been less effective

COMMENT 7d ago
Harris has one + skill = jump shooting. Every other aspect of his game is mediocre to bad. Even his jump shooting sometimes has a negative impact on the offense because he dribbles too much and is a slow decision maker either the ball. He's a $16-$18 mil a year player making almost $40 mil per season and this team will not contend with Harris on the roster.

Ben "The King of Cringe" Simmons

I disagree. Derek is very rigid. I like that about him but feel an equally knowledgeable yet more thoughtful, quick thinking counter part could pull a lot more from Bodner.

Sixers Beat is top notch. I would like Derek to have a co-host who offers a counter point once in a while rather than one who parrots everything he says. It's annoying but Bodner's insight is worth the listen

Over the past 18 months or so Mike seems disinterested and check out more often than not. His NBA knowledge base has regressed and to compensate he offers fake praise and fake optimism which is not Philly at all. Have you thought about reducing Mike's workload by having more Mike-free pods? Maybe less appearances would bring back genuine, knowledgeable Mike.

You're incorrect. They did a nice job on Young after a rough start. Harris is a negative defender

Simmons has never attacked the rim relentlessly. That's a huge part of his problems
