Do you know what a free market is? Why do you think immigrants influencing a market means it's not free? It's often just the opposite. A healthy market economy relies on an ever growing population to prosper. This is basic economics.
Mass immigration leads to more capital, more competition and a freer market. It's not that you need to use immigrants to prop up a free market. It's that immigrants are naturally part of a free market.

It is. Anti-immigration laws are generally anti-capitalist. A capitalist society functions best when there is a lot of immigration from outside the nation and enables a free market. When a population becomes stagnant, that's awful for capitalism. The UK has a very authoritarian view of capitalism and have shot themselves in the foot because the UK is not a free market. It's a mixed economy.

lol, people are saying the UK has a regime now. I mean, you're not wrong. It's just funny to hear it.

Australia is pretty bad too. I wouldn't be too quick to judge other countries when you live where you do.

I sure as hell don't. My kids aren't allowed on the internet at all. They watch Netflix or Disney+. My 7 year old wants a phone because her cousin that's a year younger got one. I told her she had to be 13 before she can get a phone. I'm not raising one of these spoiled ass hellions addicted to social media. We don't really use social media ourselves either. My wife has a Facebook to keep up with family, I deleted mine nearly a decade ago and haven't been back since. Only thing I use is reddit.
These parents are giving their kids phones and internet access way too early and I believe it's fucking them up.

Yeah, the abortion debate is not as clear cut as reddit makes it out to be. There's no right answer. There's just "this is the best we can do with the information we have without having to make any assumptions about morality or the nature of being". It's all about what defines a human life and people have different ideas about that because science cannot tell us at this point in time.
I'm an atheist and I'm pro choice. But if souls really do exist and are implanted at conception, then abortion really would be murder. As for your argument, it's as logical as the opposing one. It's a tough spot. That's why I'm pro-choice. People ought to make that decision for themselves. Not the government. If they have indeed murdered a soul by aborting, that's not on anyone else to judge. It would be for God to judge, if he exists.

Kids here can't skip school no more. The truancy officer will find you and lock you or your parents up for not going/making your child go to school. It's kind of fucked up now how they have it. Can't even play hookey from school anymore without the school calling your parents because you missed a single class. If you're sick they will require a doctor's excuse or you will get marked absent. Too many absences and you got the truancy officer on your ass again.
Even more fucked up is that these schools around us are making kids come to school even if they are sick. It's no wonder covid is getting so bad here.

The bomb threats are generally pranks. We used to have them every now and then too but there was never any actual bombs or anything. Just some kid calling the school to shut down everything
Surely kids in Europe would do shit like this sometimes. Maybe you didn't hear about it because it wasn't taken as seriously?

How should I know? I've never died. Neither have you. So neither of us can say. However, I can imagine that death could be a lot like what it was like before your birth. Do you remember anything before your birth? Just nothingness, right? Non existence.

Indirect how? The governments and corporations literally cannot exist without the consumer and the citizen. They are dependent on us but we aren't dependent on them. At least, we shouldn't be. We can end their existence on this planet at any time if we were to work together to do it. Now maybe we do indirectly we control our government officials via representation, but they are still there at the will of the people. We vote with our dollar. Without our taxes, the government falls. Without our money, the corporations fall.
who are really the only non-victims of AGW as they are able to avoid its effects using a wealth imbalance
No money save for enough to leave this planet will be enough to not be effected by climate change in the worst of cases. And we don't even know if leaving the planet is even a viable strategy yet. What use is wealth if the economy were to collapse? How can the rich or governments survive if not for our money and production? They need us more than we need them. They've just convinced you otherwise.

Ran over a hornet nest while bush hogging some brush in an overgrown field. Bastards were swarming all over me and I had to get off the hill I was on, take the tractor out of gear, and lower the bucket so the tractor wouldn't roll away all while getting fucked up by all these flying shitbirds.
Ran off in the direction of the house I was closest to and the motherfuckers chased me all the way there. I ended up jumping in this lady's pool hoping they would leave me be. It worked for me. Must have got stung like 50 times on the way though. I was covered in welts.

They can but, in my experience, it's rare. I'm an atheist that grew up with a very religious family in the deep south. But I'm one of the only atheists I know. Of course, even public schools where I am have prayer in the morning. I know that's not supposed to be legal but it is what it is.

Back when a pack of cigarettes were a dollar a pack? Bender would make a goddamn killing selling at a quarter a smoke in the 1980s if he could manage to push his stock. Which, in 1980 at a highschool? You certainly would have no issues getting rid of some cigarettes. Would a highschooler buy a cigarette for a quarter in 1980 is the question. Gonna just wait now for some gen x dude to chime in.

Okay, I understand not fucking up public water ways but why should OP need to go around a big puddle like that or bodies of water on private property? He's on a four wheeler. I don't know about you but where I live the most popular thing to do on four wheelers is mud riding. Which is extremely popular here.

What evidence do you have? And when you say "accepted that Jesus was real" do you mean a guy by the name of Jesus that lived in the middle east at some point or do you mean a magic dude named Jesus that rose from the dead? There's a difference, now. The Bible having some historical accuracies doesn't mean the entire thing is true.

Okay, I'm not sure what Einstein and Fraud have to do with the price of eggs in Alaska but Darwin was an atheist. I also don't see how any of that pertains to my argument that you so conveniently ignored. Darwin didn't believe in intelligent design.
Every man doesn't serve something. Even if they did, that isn't relevant to the argument anyway.
Did you actually read the article or did you just see the picture of Darwin and freak out?

One time I was helping my niece with a history project and for the project we made a cuneiform tablet out if this ole Mississippi red clay you find all over. I had looked up how they used to do it and wanted to make it look legit. With real cuneiform and everything. We gathered the clay, graded the sand and other debris out, and dried it in the sun until it was malleable enough to work properly with a few splashes of water. We even made a little doo-hickey to write with like they did in ancient Egypt. We wrote some cuneiform poem we found online and cured the tablet over a fire on top of a cinderblock until it was hard.
Well the reason I bring this up is because when she brought that tablet back home, I thought it would be funny to dig a hole and bury it about 4 feet down in the back yard. Hoping one day, many years from now, somebody digs that thing up and thinks they've turned the entire history of human civilization as its written in the history books upside down. I'll probably be gone by then, if it lasts that long, but I get a kick out of fucking with some guy far into the future long past my expiration date.
Anyway. My point is. Somebody might have put that stuff in that gator just to mess with people. Maybe fed it a piece of meat with them objects in it or something. Who knows.
Somehow, she only made a B on that project.
