Maybe someone will chime in but I poked around Wikipedia and can’t find any of the flying wing aircraft that had more than 6 built; but by no means did I search exhaustively

These Wikipedia articles explain it okay, but let me give you the nitty-gritty.

Internet Explorer (and maybe Firefox too) back then would allow pop ups and websites opening additional windows by default(I don’t think we even had an option to block pop ups). They also allowed sounds to be played.

So you click on this clickbait link and this nasty picture would come up and in multiple windows (dozens I remember) and then your computer would announce “HAYYYYY EVERYONE I’M LOOKING AT GAY PORNO!!!!!”

I’ve had my place for 15 years now. The piles get smaller 😂

But if you have piles it may be a sign that you’re shuttling too much stuff and you probably just need to purchase items to leave at the second house.

It’s a huge pain.

Here are some tips:

If it’s a vacation place - Costco and places like academy for inexpensive apparel since you won’t need fancy clothes.

Use an app like OurGroceries to keep a pantry inventory so you know what groceries to bring or order or to help menu plan.

Have a designated bag (I use an LL Bean boat bag) for stuff going to and from the second place. This makes it easier to not forget things that need to be brought over.

Try to avoid moving small inexpensive items around. It’ll make you nuts. Just buy a second or third one.

Get a reasonable set of tools and do minor repairs yourself so you don’t have to hire a full time caretaker. Also, getting repairs done in vacation locations can be excruciatingly difficult RN.

If the second property has service like Shipd or grocery delivery, make maximum use so you aren’t wasting time going shopping when you would rather be enjoying your house.

Invite friends for weekends frequently. It’s hella expensive owning extra houses and spending time with friends and family makes the monetary expenses less painful.

EDIT: My general approach is to be cheap as hell. I kinda like it. Lotsa people ITT knocking cheap, but it works for me and my road to fatfire.

Here’s what I have done (if you want to leave right away after winning a big pot):

Stack up the chips from the pot you just won. Go take a leak, grab a drink, etc.

Come back 15-20 minutes later. Pay your missed blinds (if applicable), fold once or twice and leave.

This is my casino move. Wouldn’t try at a home game.

Somehow a short absence makes everyone forget.

Anyway. Just add some PDFs and tag and put them in folders. Read some of the power user documentation. I’m not a super power user but I think once you start using it it becomes more intuitive…

I’ve used DEVONthink for years. If you have a Mac you can run a web server with the pro version (so it’s sort as elf hosted). It’s commercial and there’s an iPhone app. I love it.

Have any other DEVONthink users tried these self hosted apps?

I haven’t looked at any of these FOSS solutions in a while and I’m curious what people think. DEVONthink has this amazing feature that suggests a folder based on the OCR text which kinda spoils me.

See my comment. I was amazed at how great they were. I did bring them up to room temperature before cooking...

Peel membrane. Dry rub. 300F for 90 minutes with apple cider vinegar spritz every 30 minutes. Wrap in foil with a little sauce and butter. 45 min at 300. Remove foil. Sauce again and 5 minutes a side at 300. Perfection.

Looks more like someone was murdered in the shower… or slipped and knocked themselves out!

I think if you figured the leg height just right and angled it back a bit (front legs longer than back) it’d be a dream to sit in.
