I personally would ask that if they were both emperors of the same empire at different points in time - if the emperors were mirror Archer and Lorca, for example. I think it's a reasonable question since the position of emperor is typically dynastic.

The only thing that makes it unbelievable for me is the nature of the people in the MU itself - they're all so violent, disloyal, and constantly vying for power. The most unbelievable part would be that Hoshi and her line could hold on to power for that long.

Pretty sure Hoshi is Japanese though, not Korean. Not sure about Georgiou. Point being, I don't think you can go off of the actors.

I get the impression they put value in the art of craftsmanship and the effort it requires. Sort of like if your kid makes you a card for your birthday vs. buying a shitty generic Hallmark card. Technically speaking the Hallmark card is more impressive, but there's no meaning behind it; it's just generic manufactured nonsense created en masse by someone trying to cast a wide net. The imperfectly folded card replete with spelling errors written in crayon is likely to make you feel loved and appreciated more because the child actually put effort and creativity in to it.

Yeah, I don't have a ton of personal experience but what little I do have is universally terrible. One of them drunkenly exposed himself at the local Elementary school, which is definitely the worst incident. Besides that, their bikes are fucking loud and obnoxious. Fuck those leather-clad annoying jackasses. I don't want to hear their goddamn motorcycle at all hours of the day just because they feel insecure about their manhood.

That would be a good way to explain why the additional content doesn't have Silverhand in it (I'm assuming they aren't getting Keanu back), not to mention it helps to sidestep the issue of canonizing a specific ending. Probably the best route for a DLC expansion.

I'm stereotyping now, but many biker gangs tend to be uneducated, racist, and drug-addicted. I agree that Nomads are taking a lot of inspiration from biker gangs, but whereas biker gangs mostly... suck, Cyberpunk's nomads are just trying to live on their own away from the corporations that run everyone and everything. Their reasoning is far more understandable and sane.

Gotta be the Austin era for me. That's around when I first started watching Giant Bomb content, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. Austin, Vinny, and Alex were just a perfect storm of comedy though - Austin in particular is one of the most hilarious, charismatic, likable, and intelligent people to ever get in front of a camera. He really elevated everything he was a part of. The Vinnyvanias from that era all got several rewatches from me, Contradiction is obviously a classic, and I love the Until Dawn playthrough.

West coast was pumping out some quality around then too. I think there was some Metal Gear Scanlon happening during that era as well, which might be my single favorite series on the site. Not to mention Mario Maker and Mario Party Parties were happening.

They should've put the clip of Seven and Chakotay's romance over the "We're going to stumble... make mistakes." line.

I, Borg is the only one that comes to mind. Still don't see the problem with it though, they're an unstoppable machine that can't be reasoned with or fought by any known means.

Yeah, I don't think anyone here blames Marina Sirtis. She's fantastic considering the crap she's given to work with. Same deal with Gates McFadden (though I think Crusher is slightly more consistent as a character). I do wonder if they were ever jealous of Nana Visitor and Terry Farrell on DS9 getting far more fleshed out and well developed roles.

Apparently they fixed a bug where the roads were wet despite a lack of rain. Haven't tried it myself, but maybe wait around for it to rain and see if it looks like it used to?

I still can't believe Psychonauts 2 is real. I guess now I can start praying to Schafer and Jack Black for a Brutal Legend 2, which is probably even more unlikely. (I'd also take a polished remaster for the time being, because the PC port is in pretty rough shape now.)

Such an awesome episode. I love love love the way the bridge looks in that episode, particularly the lighting.

You should write alternate episode titles for every episode in the style of Friends' episode titles.
