I received an email from ballot trax notification that it was sent sept. 14 AND an email from USPS showing a scanned copy of the mail I was to receive in the next batch which included my ballot (free to sign up for the usps mail previews)… and yet, to this day, no ballot.

Your major in college really doesn’t matter that much. In fact, it’s better if your major is outside of the expected fields like pre-law or what-not. Major in what you actually enjoy. That said, I was an English major (which is generally useless outside of being a glorified book club and learning how to write properly)… BUT I have found my English degree helpful for critical analysis, reading, and writing aspects of what we do as lawyers. Again though, major in whatever interests you, even if it’s astronomy or whatever!

I’m not being defensive. I directly responded to what I perceived as a snarky comment by calling it a snarky comment. Maybe I read the comment wrong but the way it was written (I can’t tell you how many snarky comments I read on other posts where some troll uses euphemisms like “detective” with a clear negative intent) coupled with all the trolls on this site lead me to read this as exactly what I said it was- a snarky comment by an internet troll.
