I dont fold my laundry- i’ll just mess it up digging around the another item or when i put it on. I also just kind of tug up my covers on my bed (if I even do that) because im going to mess it up the next night anyway. Lot of things get left or excused for reasons like this in my life

Im sorry you’re so frightened. Honestly when i looked into the science of it- i felt so much better. Its not quackery or all that new (they were working on the tech they used in the vaccines for actual AIDS and cancer treatments and ‘discovered’ the method they used over 30 years ago). What more- these vaccines are actually much cleaner then previous because they dont need to add adjuvants like aluminum to piss off the body and make it react.

However my sis is anti-vax and i support her as well as im able even though I disagree on her stance. She’s watching the tide of the country and while shes glad she homeschools my nephews because neither of us doubts the government will push it on the schools ASAP- shes not frightened by what she sees. Just angry and frustrated.

She doesn’t see camps coming. But she predicted the mandates (so did i) and we both expect these to get worse. Most big companies (grocery stores like Vons) probably will never implement vaccine requirements for entry- but I suspect more little ones will (as they have already begun to). More travel methods and entry to places where the government holds control- probably will have mandates. But the courts have already provided some protections to peoples rights- while usually supporting the mandates places like universities choose to implement.

Biggest issue is how this vaccine seems to be working. Its not making its takers IMMUNE. People who take it are still getting it- which is how some vaccines work.

Full immunity would be ideal because then a lower percentage of the population getting vaccinated (say 80% purely as example) would provide excellent protection- because all those who are vaccinated dont spread it around. Unfortunately- this vaccine seems to work the other way they can protect- which is to make the virus more mild. Actually like the flu. The J&J vaccine i got has an approximate rate of people that got it avoiding SYMPTOMS at about 66%. That means they all could have had it and been spreading it around for all we know- but only 34% got congested and achey and stuff. However the rate at which it keeps people out of the hospital and from suffering many of covids lingering symptoms is almost 100%. With these numbers we actually could treat it like the flu and lead normal lives……except because even the vaccinated can spread it- it works best at near 100% vaccination rates among the population.

So ya- its gonna be around for a while and to protect everyone- masks are still good (i say this as a Californian thats been bitching about it through the whole stupidly hot summer)

Feel you. I have an anti-vax sis. I got the J&J several weeks back and avoid any mention. I hate it- but i just dont want to deal with her reaction

U could just go read the medical articles/studies/journals yourself you know. Its all accessible. Took me a while to get through it all and form my own opinion instead of listening to any of the talking heads but the info is all out there.

Both vehicles in my family are suv’s- though not huge ones; but we wont buy little cars because of the huge monsters on the road. Regular car vs basic pickup- car totaled and pickup has a dented bumper. Regular car vs BAT’s (big ass trucks)- care totaled and possibly squished- BAT has some scuffed tires

It would also help if both female and male pieces of crap would stop false reporting to punish ex partners or get back at someone or for compensation of some sort. Kind of the first thing i worry about when i wonder if id be believed

I got the J&J and was told it only had like 66% immunity against covid symptoms- so i could still get it. However it had an almost 100% rate of keeping people out of hospitals and from serious complications. Basically my doc said it did what people had been saying about covid and would make it just like the flu. I can live w that

I was unaware these were houseplants- they grow here and a lot of locals will use some leaves in salads and stuff.

Pothos is my favorite plant. It was not my first- but it was the one that got me really trying to learn how to make plants flourish and made it a passion. About two yrs ago my aunt offered me a cutting that came from a pothos my grandpa had kept. He had passed over 20 years before. I call it my grandpa plant and proudly drag my mom in to see each new leaf (it was her father’s). Its now almost five feet long and i treasure every inch. I cant wait until its hopefully as long and lovely as yours

You could look into mobile grooming. I worked as a mobile groomer for 10+ years and we did tons of dogs with health problems or were too old to stay in a loud shop for hours anymore. Sometimes having an owner around makes things worse so listen to the groomer if they ask you to stay out of sight (frustrating how many owners swear they’re ‘helping’ when they’re actually just working their dogs up more). But just being at home still (in the driveway or whatever) seems to help many dogs. If you’re dog doesn’t behave worse- you could possibly stay and keep him comforted. It sometimes takes 3 or 4 grooming experiences before the dogs really settle and realize they stay at home- but most dogs do settle and have a much easier experience then in the shops

I did quiet a few dogs with seizures- w mobile we would take one dog at a time. No other dogs smelling like fear or being loud. Easier to take the time to keep the dogs calm and take breaks at the first sign of seizures (the dogs usually become more agitated or upset before seizures begin- calm means less or no seizures)

Good luck with your pretty pup

I didn’t realize what surrounded me until me and my mother, one aunt and one uncle- out of 30+ family members were the only ones to get vaccinated. Both my siblings and my father are all refusing. Its insane and disappointing and the loss of respect i feel is kind of heartbreaking

As an American all i have to do to see how japan was- is look at the accounts of the American soldiers the japanese had as POW’s. I have no doubt they did all the things they’re denying
