Her mother helped her burn her ex's shirt with her first heartbreak. I guess it's a tradition now

I also think he really was trying to break up but then just played it off as a prank when he realized he lost the baddest bitch. But that's just a theory.

We also named the DNA. I said Scarlett, she said Jezebel so we agreed on Scarlett Jo Jezebel.

How did you end your toxic relationship and how did it start?

I have a friend who will literally beat someone up for saying. I'll definitely follow what you said instead :).
And yea, in the past when I told ppl not to say it, I was ignored and laughed at. Which is why I stayed silent about it for so long. But I think the best way for me to grow up is for me to use my voice and speak about things I'm uncomfortable with. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks, I really appreciate your words here. For context, the word im taking about is gd is used a lot in movies ( in ridiculous amounts IMO) but yea I do struggle with physical effects of hearing the word. But you're right, it can't hurt me. I have done well in "reprogramming" by trying to ignore when ppl say it. I do wonder why the word is so common tho.
It was nice hearing the perspective of someone who was told some of the same things I've been told. Thanks again for sharing!

Thanks for the advice. I think my tolerance with the word is better than it was when I was younger. For example, if it's in a song, I can handle it better. There's always a fear that if I "reclaim" the word I'll accidentally end up saying it on day.
But thanks for you advice, once again. I appreciated your different perspective. Had I asked any of my fellow Christian family members this question, the answer would be "just pray about it" lol.

How do you suggest I explain to people how it makes me feel? It's kinda hard putting it into words.

Does anyone else have a problem with blasphemy? I'm tired of it

I've had it for months now. They never asked for it back and I decided today was the day to finally let it go.
