Didn't mean to offend. Have just never experienced it in the medical world. Have seen plenty of people up and down the ranks with tattoos so maybe it's just different here. Mormons actually don't have a strict rule for it like they do coffee and alcohol, but it's discouraged. I get more flak from my grandmother and my girlfriend's mom than any other place.

IMO, which is after some helpful therapy, you either try and do or wait around for while the time for opportunity shrinks. in Ochem lab 1, I met a guy who was 34 and had been in accounting since college. He hated it so much he made a change, and there's nothing wrong with that either.

remember that David has been through several marriages and has a kid he didn't father. Life will come down to what you value more and depending on that equation you will act accordingly.

research the biggest bs IMO. limited opportunity and for many like myself who live an hour away from their campus, it's not practical at all. Not to mention that with covid, all undergrad work was suspended in labs at my uni.
