And that folks, is what you commonly know as a "buzz killer". Someone who will purposely take anything and make it terrible!

Of course he's washed dude. Everyone knows that. All im saying is the irony of him coming in baltimore and be good would be hilarious

And with serious thinking, why should they pick Miami over the Broncos?

COMMENT 8h ago

Its not what he's doing, you're refusing to understans because you're biased.

Its about fucking trends. Since 2001 the phins have made the playoffs 3 times the last time being 2016.

Between those playoffs appearences, they more often than not were terrible.

Its not about fucking PREDICTING with precision based on numbers with actual players and what nots. Its about analysts and journalists making prediction based off what they saw and what they BELIEVE.

Its a sport, not rocket science. Why do you think no one ever has a perfect bracket? Theres upsets. Wins the phins should not have won, loss they shouldnt have lost. Its unpredictable outside of guts and trends.

COMMENT 8h ago

You just refuse to understand the very simple argument he's making. In those 3 teams, which one made the playoffs more recently?

The trends are: the Broncos dont stay terrible for long and the Chargers are almost always decent at worst. The dolphins are one fluke season, 3-4 terrible years. Now last year they had a good season, so what do you expect to happen when youve seen this scenario over and over again?

2

COMMENT 8h ago

The argument absolutely holds up. Its a matter of analytics and you just seem to ignore that part completely. Miami have not been a good team in over 20 years. They'll have a good season once every couple of seasons, lose, then go back on losing streak for a couple of seasons.

Its a trend and analysts dont trust miami to turn their franchise around with the roster that they have.

Broncos and Chargers have been good OR good enough for contention for years now, and when shit hit the fan, they didnt take a life time to rebuild and contend again.

Thats just not true tho. Sutton, Fant and Jeudy are a quality receiving corp. Gordon and Williams are also a good duo. Now dont hit me with the drops of Jeudy, statistically speaking veeeeery unlikely that he repeats these drops.

Teddy is not a good Qb, but hes good enough to feed the playmakers and is way more responsible with the ball than Lock ever was and it gives their defense the chance to keep them on the field. I dont think they're superbowl contenders, but they most certainly can contend for a playoff spot with that roster

Chargers have a Qb that showed greatness in year one. Tua has looked ok, but no where near the level of Herbert. Also theyre getting D James back which is an immediate impact on their rankings. Their Defense will be great.

Now for the Broncos, they have the weapons on offense to be absolutely amazing. Teddy is a very meh player, but he can put the ball in his playmakers hands responsibly and watch them go off for big plays. Their defense will be elite again or is at least projected to be elite.

I guess my point is, they're questionning Tua's ability to lead that team to the next level. Now dont go on to crucify, hes my Fantasy starter and I believe in him but I think his offensive line is also a question mark

I think he'll have a "break out" year where he'll make 60 pts. My reasons are, he'll most likely play with a more offensive sided line and thats where he thrives.

Also i think people reeeeaaaally underestimate the gravity of that wrist injury he suffered from. My buddy broke his wrist 5 years ago and got full capacity again maybe a year and a half ago. Now i think that as a pro athlete he spends more time in rehab than the common folk so I expect him to be 100% in his mobility.

Lets try him at 4C for a while and see from there. Theres no need to push him into a 3rd line center position.

The whole narrative that players are lost is just stupid to me. Some dudes will be ready at 18, some will be at 24.

Look at Sean Couturier. Guy went from 35-40 to 70 in a year. 25 was his break out year.

Im a big nfl nhl and nba fan and every league is the same. Is he a star at 22? No? Move on he'll never be good.

Give him time and if he never goes past 3rd liner whats the problem with it??

The only difference is that Anderson is a lot faster and a lot bigger. Gallagher is not fast enough to play with a guy like Drouin who thrives on fast paced offense. Gallagher isnt moving much and thrives on a line where he can be in front of the net and be the annoying mofo

1

COMMENT 10h ago

Im not big on advanced stats but they right on part of it. Gallagher most definetly likes to enter the zone with the puck. Often near the board after someone try to hit him but failed

2

COMMENT 10h ago

Gallagher is probably the most loved player on the team. Everyone loves gally, i dont know a single person that loves the habs, that dont appreciate gallagher so i think you based your opinion on the fact that people dont see him as a second liner.

As someone who doesnt want or ever will want any kids, my doctor refused categorically to snip snap the ol tunnel because he thought i was way too young and reverse it would be very far from a garanteed result.

I doubt any doctors will accept to be honest. Its up to them in general but youre both VERY young and that plan is wack
