Again, you're trying to lump these protests in with civil rights protests by saying both fall into the group of "all protests being disruptive". That's blatantly false since there are many ways to protests that aren't nearly as disruptive and are far more effective at garnering publics support.

Equating these People's Park protests to those of the Civil Right's era is ridiculous. That downplays the struggle that African-Americans faced all those years ago as well as their accomplishments.

Some of us come to Berkeley for the amazing programs and schooling it has to offer and blocking a major entrance and forcing those to go through a creek, especially the ones who have trouble going through, is unacceptable.
